Boehringer Ingelheim QC laboratory building

As part of the overall LSCC project, a new laboratory building with a usable area of more than 10,000 m² was built on the construction site to ensure the quality criteria of the active ingredients produced. Parts of the laboratory levels are equipped for BSL2 status and are subject to continuous monitoring of the room conditions.

The ventilation systems with a total air volume of 150,000 m³/h for air conditioning
the laboratory and office areas are equipped with highly efficient heat recovery systems including adiabatic cooling and are supported by component activation. The optimal energetic adjustment of the air volumes is achieved via presence detectors, time controls and CO2 room air sensors.
